"pro" tip from someone burned out on tech

whenever you are told you "need" some tech to make things more convenient, ask yourself, "how do I do this without tech? Does this thing really need a hosted subscription service?"

Do I need an online calendar, or does my paper planner work fine?

Do I need a bruised food subscription box, or is the Food Not Bombs fine?

Sometimes the answer is "yes I do need that", but sometimes it's not.

@polymerwitch I think most of the time the answer is "I don't need this". We become lazy and we rely too much on modern technology.
