covid / vaccine
Just saw the statistic that healthcare workers in the US (who have been eligible for the covid vaccine since December) are only about 50% vaccinated.
Not sure how the US as a whole is expecting to hit 70% of even a single dose before a new variant takes hold. Some states might hit the milestone, but the population outside of those states will still give a vector for new variants that will eventually hit the more vaccinated areas.
