Because of the tree hierarchy of the layout you can have a tabbed layout, then in one of the tabs have a vertical split, and in one of those splits have a stacked layout, and in one of those stacked layouts have a horizontal split, and in one of those splits have a tabbed layout

lol, you can make sub-layouts in floating parent layouts as well. The whole group can be dragged around and resized together or independently
